Burning Salt Water — A New Form of Fuel

August 28th, 2007

Inventor, John Kanzius, has figured out a way to burn salt water. This could provide a clean, naturally available alternative fuel source. Salt water is one of the most abundant natural resources on our planet. Here’s a video.

As an energy source it won’t be useful. The power going into the radio waves will be greater than the power released by the recombination of the gases.
However, it looks like a novel and efficient way to split water. If you can separate the gases without allowing them to ignite, then it might be very valuable.

What I want to know is the frequency he is using. My guess is that it is a resonance frequency of the water or the salt. The stuff shown in the news releases appier to be lower frequency equipment. So if we could find the frequency we could duplicate the experiment.
if anyone has that information I would love to try it.
