My friends father died of Asbestos related illness and cancer. It inspired me to delve into the available research and information on how these terrible events might be avoided or life extended.
From what i have read of the published medical data and research, particularly that conducted in China and Japan there is a great deal of evidence to support complimentary immune therapy, especially with infections and cancer. I've been following with some interest the development of a complimentary cancer treatment that has been designed in liason with the University of Newcastle (Australia) and although not a cure as such, the concept and the deliberate and effective use of natural elements in the product acheive remarkable results in the lab and in human trials. If you have an interest in this field or perhaps just want to keep abreast of a new treatment you may find www.mc-s.com.au fairly worthwhile reviewing.

Very good idea. The only problem is big pharma or the government would never allow a drug to be sold at cost for no profit. It would completely undermine the monopoly that big pharma has on the America drug industry and expose how much consumers are being gouged.

Thank you for this wonderful piece of information, I am going to order a copy of New Scientist and read it bit by bit.
My mom died of a rare form of cancer recently, I personally experienced this kind of illness's tremendous impact, both emotionally and financially.
If it's proven to be effective, in the final product there need to be some ingredients responsible for delivering DCA to the target system, tuning patient's drug metabolism process, minimizing side effects etc. So even though the core ingredient/process is not patentable, there still should be potentials for product patents.
