Years ago I read a short sci-fi story about the first manned mission to Mars where the astronauts trekked up to the rim of Mount Olympus only to find a Tibetan Monastery carved into the crater wall. I mentioned that to a wise old Lama once and he only smiled. Maybe he knew something we don’t.
